Do’s And Don’ts In The Use Of Facial Steamers And Microdermabrasion

Admittedly or not, people are always fighting for a common battle. This fight that people fight all over the world is commonly experienced by them. This is the battle against aging. The battle is universal that people are constantly trying to search for any solution that they can either delay what’s inevitable or even avoid it if they can.

This is where science goes in. Scientists and inventors have produced skincare technology that they claim to take years off a person’s age with religious use of course. Two samples of this technology are microdermabrasion and facial steaming.

Several years ago, these two processes could only be done in particular facilities like those who specialize in facial and skin care. Today however technology paved the way for facial steamers and microdermabrasion kits that allow you to do it yourself right at the comfort of your own home.

You might think of it as a complex thing that’s hard to use. The truth is that the manufacturers have made it so that they are simple and easy to use. There are several considerations however that you have to take when you are to use the microdermabrasion and facial kit.

You need to remember that you need to cleanse your skin before using these machines. The steamers act to open up your pores and if your skin is dirty, you are introducing the dirt into it. Through the use of the steamer, it is best to use purified and sterilized water since tap water may have chemicals and minerals that can cause damage to the machine. It is also important to move your face away from the steam from time to time since it will keep your skin from being burned by the heat.

About microdermabrasion, there are several considerations to bear in mind before you start. You should cease using products that may have salicylic acid or aspirin. If you smoke, quit smoking a week before the procedure for you to have better circulation. You should also avoid tanning, waxing, other kinds of chemical peels and collagen injections two weeks before the procedure. Also, you have to read the instruction completely and understand the products you are going to use before the procedure so you will know if you are allergic to some.
